A Visit to Nicaragua
In January, we visited Nicaragua to do a week-long medical/dental mission trip. It is a beautiful country filled with lovely, hospitable people. Our team of 8 from the US was joined by a dozen very helpful Nicaraguan missionaries who helped us travel to different rural villages to set up clinics.
The trip was a huge success, and it was personally awesome for Jeff and me to embark on this kind of adventure as newlyweds.

Feaver Family Christmas Card
Back in November, I had the pleasure of shooting photos with a girlfriend from my old office. The goal was to get some photos of her, her husband, and his brother to give to her mother-in-law for Christmas. The catch: it also had to include their two super-enthusiastic Boston terriers, Reepicheep and Books.
As you can see, we had a great time....

Fort Belvoir
At the end of October, I got a chance to visit Jeff in Northern Virginia while he was doing a family medicine rotation at Fort Belvoir. While he worked, I got some time to explore the post. The marina there is so charming!
On the weekend, we traveled into Alexandria and Washington, DC together to do some sightseeing. We had a beautiful time!

There's no place like home
The Haven at First and Market will be hosting an Open House and Art Auction on Friday Nov. 5, 2010. Art work has been donated by dozens of local artists to support our cause. Please stop by between 6pm and 9pm for the festivities. The money from your admission and any art you buy will help the Haven keep its doors open to homeless folks this winter. Go here to find out more details.
