2012 Rock & Stroll

This weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the "Rock & Stroll", an outdoor family event to support the local agencies that help our homeless neighbors here in Alexandria.  I was there shooting photos for New Hope Housing, an organization I've been volunteering with for the past year.

It was a gorgeous fall day, and the event was full of fun activities.  They had face painting, hula hooping, corn hole, and even Zumba!  The mayor, vice mayor, and other local representatives came to show their support.  Check it out!

Charlotte!

Our daughter Charlotte joined our family on June 11th.  She quickly stole our hearts, and the spotlight.  (You cannot imagine how many photos I have of this little girl!)  Over the past three months, she has been growing into a cute, roly poly little munchkin.  Her Mommy, Daddy, and other friends and relatives are willing to do such silly things for just a smile and a gurgle.  :)

She is such a joy to us!

Baby Bump

So.... It's been awhile!  During my long hiatus, we've been busy fixing up our fixer-upper, adopting pets, and incubating a daughter!  She is due in June.  Here are some of the maternity photos we snapped together the other day.

Down by the Sea Shore

Last week, I joined my family for a few days at Topsail Island in North Carolina.  We had beautiful sunny days and lots of mellow time on the beach.

Now that we have moved to Alexandria, it has been awesome to explore all the perks of living up here.  Admittedly, I didn't have high hopes of finding a wealth of natural beauty up here in "the city", but I have been pleasantly surprised.  Saturday morning, I had a spontaneous rush of enthusiasm that got me out of bed and led me to the river...

Varsity Soccer Portraits

My sister Nicole is a senior on the high school girls' soccer team.  She wanted some photos in her uniform to include in the year book.  We had a lot of fun snapping these in my parents' backyard.

Signs of Spring
